Escuchar con los ojos is a photographic and text-based exhibition and book based on over 20 years of collaboration with Amado Villafaña and the Yosokwi Collective of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

The exhibition features photographs mounted on wooden frameworks and wall displays that reflect the visual and spiritual territory of the Indigenous communities of the Sierra Nevada. Through this collaborative dialogue, the project invites viewers to look beyond the surface of the image and engage in a deep, reflective act of listening—listening with the eyes to the voices, memory, and territory of the ancestral guardians.
