Images from Violentology: A Manual of the Colombian Conflict are laser printed on “Bulky” paper stock, then wheat – pasted or taped to the walls of exhibition spaces, classrooms or outside on the street.
A clear diagram is provided to guide the host space in painting the background to the work. Text is printed on label tape and stuck to the wall. This presentation reflects the aesthetic and conceptual priorities of the project, while making the work accessible to schools and community organizations with limited funds.
This exhibition travelled to public and private universities around Colombia with support from the Open Society Institute, in collaboration with the Consejo de Redacción, the organization of Colombian investigative journalists.
